Having been at the forefront of dance music for over twenty years, Junior K kick-started his illustrious career, joining legendary dance group N-Trance in the late 90s, as their official member and tour DJ.

After years on the road, working on and helping promote a string of their top 10 hits, including club staple Set You Free and Forever, (& also featuring in N-Trance videos Forever & Destiny), Junior formed remix and production team Riffs & Rays with fellow producer Phil Pendlebury.

Becoming a highly respected commodity, Junior signed his own deal with N-Trance's record label All Around The World in 2005, with their first production!

Later that year Riffs & Rays struck gold with their massive production of Inaya Day’s UK Top 10 Smash, Nasty Girl, which propelled them into the limelight delivering the year’s Club and Chart Anthem.  To date the track is still only the SECOND RECORD IN UK HISTORY TO BE PLAYED TWICE IN A ROW ON NATIONAL RADIO 1. The track was lauded as Pete Tongue’s Essential Tune of the Week and eventually hit the UK Top 10 Singles Chart at no.9!! In 1995 Pete Tong also chose N-Trance's worldwide hit 'Stayin Alive' as his essential new tune.

Riffs & Rays became hot property with countless record labels, artists and producers demanding the guys work on their projects.  So highly sought after that, while producing Madonna’s hugely successful, Confessions on a Dance Floor album, Stuart Price still found time to commission them to remix his top 10 single, Jaques Ur Body.

Since then Junior has masterminded a string of memorable club hits, having produced and remixed for artists including:  N-TRANCE, MICHAEL JACKSON, AKON, LADY GAGA, MARY J BLIGE & CHAKA KHAN, THE SATURDAYS, SHONTELLE, GIRLS CAN’T CATCH, ULTRA NATE, DANNI MINOGUE, FREELOADERS, MASTERS AT WORK to name a few!!

DJ RESIDENCIES & GUEST APPEARANCES

Junior currently holds residencies in Sheffield, Durham, Leeds, Wakefield and the world famous Sugar Hut Essex, as well as making guest appearances all over the world.

His career highs have seen him performing in front of an 80,000 strong crowd at Hampden Park, Glasgow for Live & Loud in 2006 and opening the main stage at Manchester Pride in 2009, and headlining at Pasha in 2015. Junior K was recently invited to guest mix on Richard Cutmore's radio show to perform an N-Trance classics set with a modern twist.

Bolstered by his hugely successful career to date, Junior K Presents Guilty Pleasures vol. 1 (which has now been downloaded over 10,000 times) there has been an increased demand for bookings all over the world, including The Barn, Penzance / The Fort, Ballymena / 360 Degrees, Dubai / Orange Corner, Ibiza / Insomnia Bangkok & Pattaya, Thailand and even private weddings in Mumbai, India!
